Ed, what are you trying to find out? It started as a 1916, then has many parts swapped out.

It is NOT a nazi rework with the swapped out parts, they were swapped out later.

If you do not believe this, then that is okay, but my first answer I told you is correct.... Whoever told you it was a rework is correct about the barrel, but afterwards the parts were changed. A rework prior to WW2 would simply NOT have wrong numbers on them. Period...
