Walt I bet your screen resolution is less than 800x600?
If it is, then you can't see all of the links on the black stripe left frame of the home page and this area does not scroll. Try changing your display to 800x600 or greater since that is what the site was designed for. The higher the resolution, the better the picture, but some older eyes can't see the real high stuff without reading glasses... Mine is set at 1600 x 1200 on a 19 inch monitor, but I use reading glasses...
