Re: 1906 Portugese Lugers. I have owned a 1906 with M2 removed from the chamber. As I remember a bunch of Protugese Lugers were imported and for sale in SGN in the early 1960s Some had the M2 removed and were refinished. Seems the M2 was removed at time of refinish since Manual the second [dictator] was no longer in power and was of course in disfavor. Maybe I'm having a senior moment--but believe this is correct info.
