Baden-Wurttemberg Police issued Walther PP
A couple months ago I got a heck of a deal on a used Walther PP. I aquired this little pistol to add to my police handgun collection because it had some police markings on it, consisting of a shield with three stacked lions on the right frame, and an issue number on the front gripstrap. A little research identified the "stacked lion crest/shield" marking as originating from the German state of Baden-Wurttemberg.
Not that old a gun, probably from 1974 made in Ulm West Germany. I also got a ratty Walther PP box, finger rest mag and flat base mag, funky little aluminum cleaning rod that ain't all there.
I have been quite impressed with this little 7.65 pistol. An excellent and reliable shooter that keeps burning up all the .32 auto I can find. I figure a nice little pistol like this one probably deserves an original holster. Where can I buy an original holster for a German police issued PP.
Thanx, Stevie.
