I have to agree with George...This holster looks right as rain. It was not unusual for the Germans to use pebble grain. This is not pig skin. You will notice the stock leather is also pebble grain leather. I cannot say for absolute certain without seeing the back and inside of this holster but I believe so far that it is original and made this way. I've been wrong before...Jerry Burney
