Well, thanks to this posting, I went out and bought one.....Dallas Market Hall gunshow did it to me again!
My gun is like Pete's 1st gun pictured in his first pic that is posted. I have learned a WHOLE LOT from Pete on these. These guns are so slick and well made. It amazes me how an antique like this retains so much without much aging affects. Mine does have an ever so little amount of pitting here and there (hardly any to mention). The bore is just slick inside. This gun reminds me of a Swiss clock with all the neat little parts and such.
If anyone has a chance to pick one of these up, they (in my opinion) should. I don't know how many of these are around but I've never really remembered running across any. I probably did, I just don't remember seeing one of these.
The ammo situation seems to be a problem for those that will want to shoot theirs. I'll probably never get a chance to shoot mine. I really don't know if I would if given the chance. It feels like a strong and sturdy weapon, but still you never know what could happen once fired!
