The website says, "Temporarily off site..." but here's a great tour if you're ever in NYC when the Growler comes home:

The Growler was our first nuclear missle capable sub. The sub itself was a diesel. To fire the Regulus missle, the ship needed to surface, roll out the missle, and fire it off the deck. Haven't we come a long way?

The Intrepid alone is an awesome museum, well worth the trip.

Maybe at the 2025 "World Peace Fair" we'll pay to be launched out of an Ohio class sub in a plexiglass missle... just for fun.

Okay... maybe not.
