It is rather interesting, I think, that such a seldom encountered Luger would be offered for sale at a small neighborhood gun shop. This Luger sat in the display case of such a gun shop in Lafayette, Louisiana for the better part of a week. A good friend was fortunate to have seen this Luger and purchased it. He put it in his collection before it got away to some strange home where it may never have been shared with fellow collectors and members of the forum. I have been a forum member for only a short time, but I have been collecting Lugers for a very long time and I donâ??t recall seeing one of this variation before. All numbers match exc. the magazine.
