That is why I figured we should take the subjectivity out of it abd actually measure blue loss against total exposed surface area, other wise it merely becomes each persons opinion. Pretty scary when say a 97% Luger means only a 1/4 by 1/4 area is worn (would really be 99 + %, and one little dab of high quality cold blue would raise the price by 100 plus dollars!
