Yes, this pistol has been discussed before, both here and on Jan Still's forum. The guy initially only had the pistol and the capture papers (I remember the leitz projector). He later collected the holster. As the pistol was taken from a German, it's not unlikely that the German himself obtained it in the Netherlands. This is a Dutch NAVY pistol and not a Dutch KNIL pistol. Navy had boats, KNIL had islands
