Tom: Can you clarify P-Date. I have P505 side frame marked in my collection. I do not have - the commerical/military flawed example usually serialed I think P1 before the actual serial, I would guess on the front frame. I looked in the book and on the rear cover - yours must be the four digit later gun I am assuming from your description. Is yours serialized with the P1 or P2 like the book indicates?
