While you do have to have an impulse within the correct range, the powder burning rate doesn't have much to do with that. Could it be that the 147 grainer being more "nose heavy" aggravates the modern 9 mm cartridge's propensity for being too short? Both factors would tend to tilt the nose downward.

The infamous OAL problem again.
We had a shooter, a few weeks ago, claim that the 147 stuff wouldn't even eject.
Just how slow is this stuff anyway?
