I can't help with your request, perhaps someone else can... but I have a Kesselring story for you...
in the mid 1980's, while part of an Army Inspector General team, I inspected a communications facility managed by a civilian whose office was decorated with WW2 memorabilia... on his desk, next to his regular telephone, was an antique phone of a type I had never seen before but looked European in design...
After asking if I could examine it, he claimed that he had personally removed this phone from the Field Marshall Kesselring's desk after the end of the battle for Montecassino...
Now I don't know if his story was true or not, but at the time I was duly impressed...
