Patrice, Thank you for presenting your fine 1914 P.08 Erfurt. As is known (Jan Still, Imperial Lugers), only 7000 of these were made in 1914, as Erfurt was concentrating on LP.08's. This piece appears correct in every way and is in the proper serial range. Contrast this to several "1914's" presented earlier with notches in the receiver, relieved sear bars, and one proof on the magazine bottom, if available. Patrice, do you have a photo of the magazine bottom? Also, this is the first unit marked 1914 P.08 I've seen as probably less than 10% were so marked.
