Hi Big Norm,
Thanks for your kind reply and the eloquent clarification of this issue for me. I do apologize if I misguided any member in my original post, however, I feel obligated to state that I am by no means a â??new collectorâ?. Although I am new to this excellent forum, I have been collecting Lugers since 1959. My association with this forum has definitely renewed my interest in my collection. I must say that I have received personal help and guidance from several members and do sincerly appreciate it. I do apologize if I brought some of my antiquated terminology to my last posting, and I appreciate the insight you offered in the proper naming of the artillery.
The bottom line is that I am hoping that through this medium I can somehow locate a very valued Luger that I should have never let go. Thanks again for your help and kind words and wisdom.
