Kenyon's system needs to be thrown aside. The so called artillery luger was the model "Lange Pistole 08" its pet name is "artillery Luger". The pistol should be referred to as either of the latter names and never the meaningless "1914 Artillery". "Hero" or "cult" writers like Hogg and Kenyon have created so many non existant official variations that a new collector may as well be hunting snipe.
