Leo, The only official contract purchase to Thailand of Lugers that I'm aware of was in 1936 for 4 & 8" pistols. Since the Tais were an ally of the Germans in both WW1 & 2, I expect that many pistols were transfered to them from regular production, particularly as surplus after WW1.
