I just don't get it. Why would anyone email a seller and inform him that he may want to do more research on an item that he has placed on auction?
Pete, did it ever occur to you that someone may have had an interest in this Luger? I had emailed the seller asking for additional information and was waiting for his response when your post showed up. In my opinion, it is the sellers responsibility to do his own research for an item he may wish to put on the market and to determine at what price he will sell.
He has sent me an email informing me that he has taken it off the market in order to do more research. It was removed after bids had been placed which is a violation of Gunbroker policy. I am not a bad guy, but those that had placed bids may not be so nice and could leave some negative feedback for the seller.
I am sure that I am not the only one that feels this way; probably the only one that was ticked off enough to put it in writing.
