Paul, As I recall on this type of holster the male portion of this snap is hidden under the stitched in portion of the bottom of the holster. This means the holster would have to be unstitched to access the area needed to install this snap. I am afraid it would intail more time than it could be worth. I am not all that familiar with the value of this type of holster but if it has to be torn apart it could quickly reach the point of deminishing returns.
Take a look at it and see if what I think is correct....
