John D,
thanks for your prompt hookup..........
Evening All, from a cold Georgia tonite......I am from over at the great P.38 forum that John runs........kudos to you sir !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
am looking forward to posting and learning more about the intricacies of this pistol........my first couple of days with this piece of history have been very interesting indeed!!!!
Sunday, went to a gunshow in Columbus, Georgia, military town and all, you just never know what will fall out of the woodwork............
the only thing i saw that was worth a second look and then purchasing was.....
1914 chamber date DWM Luger with only one magazine
was in a 1936 dated Gebruder Klinge Weimar Eagle waA 142 waffenamt holster: holster in very good shape with unmarked takedown tool.......
Pistol was all matching, serial # 9679
magazine wood bottom, wood floorplate, number almost indistinguishable but i don't think it matches

..........nickel body, mag in great shape
would rate the blueing at 95-98% but i know thats a subjective thing and everybody has their own opinions.........
Pics as follows and opinions solicited................
TIA, Regards, Paul
