Another reason to assign no additional value to a weapon accompanied by so-called "capture papers." The gun speaks for itself, telling us the manufacturer, date of manufacture, military or civilian classification, etc. All the papers do is tell us what we already know, that the weapon was once possessed by a foreign entity, and now it resides in the U.S.A. There should be no particular interest in the fact that permission was officially given to bring it back. It should be just as valuable to us even if it was smuggled home in a duffle bag.
