That's a good point Ed. There is the collector value to consider...

Really all I want is the tool, to be able to strip it and clean it. Check for defects, etc. Ya gotta have the tool...... The other stuff, especially the grips, is just bonus stuff.....

The only problem with the "real" tools and holsters is the price. One can easily spend $60 on a tool. Forget the holster. I would only want the holster to round out the collection. But, as you point out so well, repros don't have any collector value and therefore aren't worth buying to round out the collection...... (kind of circular logic, now that I think about it)

Okay, so I just buy the tool for now. Maybe I stumble on a good deal on a holster or have more spendable cash at some time in the future. It could happen..... :-P
