I would say it doesn't stick to the rim, a weaker magent did not, a stronger one did, but not as much as to the interior part of it.

It does make a funny "rattle" like you said. Interesting. Sounds like my $17 plus tax was reasonable. Will look good on the wall, and I am glad it is probably real, slowly fading out anything that is repro from the house.
