The right-frame markings are those of a WWI Erfurt, determined by the style of the Eagle stamping at right. The receiver should have a notch milled into it right at the front on top if it is indeed 1917.

The receiver would have been rust blued. The S/42 toggle could have been rust blued or salt blued, depending on the year it was manufactured. There is no reliable way to determine this date from the parts.

You do not describe any of the frame markings, so it is not possible to guess what it might be.

I can't interpret the barrel markings from your description. Your photo of the receiver marks is very good, photos of the other marks would be interesting.
