Hello to all,
I just purchased a nice capture s/42 1937 k98. Although the numbers don't match I'am quite pleased with the rifle. None of the original markings have been peined over by the infamous "X" mark the russians used. Well to get to the question I have, the rifle has the arsenal refinish on it unfortunitly, and I was wondering what blueing process was used on this make of K98 when it came from the manufacture?

Salt blue? Thanks for the help!!
