The soldiers probably got them straight from the factory and solidiers in Belgium during WW2, then to be spread troughout Europe and forgoten..
I once had a strange looking pocket revolver made in Belgium, the quality of it was VERY bad! So after that I have been some skeptical to Belgium firearms.. But the quality of this one looks to be ok. Looking forward to testing it some day
