Default Re: Stainless Luger for Fourm

No one said that it had to be done. AIMCO was approached by some of the leaders in NAPCA to make a commerative Luger to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Luger Pistol. The owner of AIMCO obliged, no one forced anyone to buy them, and no one if forcing anyone to have one made for the forum. If you would take the suggestion of a 68 year old this is what is wrong with the world now. Someone tosses an idea out and immediately everyone jumps on it by saying how it cheapens something or someone is price gouging etc. You are all intitled to your opinions but civility seems to be taking a backseat now a days we have all become so opinionated and calloused it what we consider to be right or wrong and to hell with everyone elses rights. I bought that Luger to show support for my Collectors organization, no one held me down and took my money. I did not buy it to make a big profit or to try and resell it, it was bought for my enjoyment and if I want to buy a piece of crap as it is being basically called so be it. I respect your rights to disagree and I have my rights to disagree also. I don't usually use this type of language in a printed form but what I have been seeing lately I think it needs to be said. The forum is a place to exchange ideas freely and learn or are we now going to make it a place where when something is put forth a place to ridicule an individual or cast dispusions on a persons reasons or actions! This is my two cents worth.
