Stunning example..... As well, I understand that almost 60 years later, the Inglis is serving overseas with Canadian, British, Australian and troops from NZ (and others I may have missed?). Amazing legacy to an original design (even though there are manufacturing differences between the Inglis and the FN production). It makes one wonder if the current US issue sidearm, the Beretta - (not the venerable 1911, which is still the sidearm of choice for most SPECOPS) can even come close to that design legacy and service life. As for me, I doubt that JMB's designed can truly ever be replaced...
