Hello,
I just bought a Stoeger 22 #CL031xx in very good shape. 95% bluing turning to a nice pantia brown
all over. I had heard that some of these were of poor quality and made of pot metal. Mine seems to be made of steel as it is very heavy(as much as my
1945 P-38)and a magnet sticks to it very well. Is this a better made one? Grips are original, clip is also and it works very well.
Also I have just now received a 1917 LP-08 DWM that the upper is almost all matching (sideplate, one small part does not)#2225on top, but frame is from a Police model? #2402t with a infinty mark by the #(what is looks like) and has a marking on front strap L.Me.276. (Missing cut off safety) grips match LP-08 type. Mag is wood bottom #3093+ with a mark that looks like a crown over u ?(or B) Gun over all orginal finish in very good but pantia on upper parts, not as much on frame. I know this is a parts gun, but had not seen any markings like this before.
Soooo... what is the unit mark? can I put a orginal stock/rig on this LP-08? can anyone tell me how to adjust the trigger as it clicks at the sideplate before it fires(not smooth)
Any info will help as I am learning.
I wished that I had the parts from both guns to make them complete as I think they would have been
very nice.
Oh I paid $180 for the stoger, $850.00 LP-08
Thank you
