To me; Comfortable padded sling is important, buy 3-6 of them, then if one gets stolen or traded...
Talked to my brother, he knows of a website that has a bunch of old-timer spec-ops and I'll add it in a few.
He also suggested that a nice present would be light cop armor, something comfortable and safe and those wick shirts like we used to wear under our 2nd chance vests.
