Albuquerque Show
I just had to give this show a thumbs down for Lugers this time around. I was only able to find 5 Lugers and everyone of them shooters. The only one that really had my attention was a 42 BYF that was not in to bad of shape. There was a Vickers reciever that was put together with a Mauser frame. Both of these were going for $1100. The other three were in $500-$850 range.
The highlite of the show was Mr. Eckerts display as usual. This time he had a long barrel display, Artilleries, Navy, and Carbines. All of these with stocks. A couple of Trommel magazines plus the loading tools. Quite nice. I did not get to visit with him this time around. It really would have been neat to discuss his display.
I also struck out on Gibson's book. No one had any this time around. Bummer. That would have made the show worth it to go to. <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" />
