Things are beginning to get interesting as some patterns are beginning to emerge from the data.

As I mentioned, I have ordered a copy of "Weimar Lugers" from Jan Still and will mine it for additional data on police marks. However, it's unlikely that I'll have access to a copy of "German Small Arms Markings" or "Luger Variations" anytime soon. If you or anyone else is inclined to search those sources for references to other Weimar police Lugers and provide the requested information, I would be very grateful.
