Hi,
Some research:
In 1932 at the end of the Weimar republic, several parts of the Hannover district (bordering to the Sachsen district, part of which was Magdeburg) became part of the Sachsen district and parts of the Sachsen district became part of the Hannover district.
It seems that this gun, including the police station it was issued to, found itself in Magdeburg in 1932, in the Sachsen district as a result of this reorganization of borders.
Since the marking of small arms was still active in 1932, this meant that guns that were previously struck with Hannover property marks, had to be restruck with Magdeburg property marks.
So this appears to be correct
