Post Is S&B 30 Tokeroff ammo to hot for the .30 mauser pistol?

I recently purchased some S&B Tokeroff ammo to shoot out of a Broomhandle and two of the rounds blew their primers and swelled the cases up so bad that they would not even fit in my shell holder to be reloaded. About 100 other recovered cases showed no signs of excesss pressure. I am wondering if the bad rounds had too much powder or suffered bullet set back. The bad rounds in question had their primers blown completely out of the cases.

I have since quit using any Tokeroff ammo in my Broomhandle. I was thinking about buying some more of the S& B ammo because it is so cheap and then pulling the bullets and reducing the powder charge by about 1/2 a grain. But I am not sure that the original problem was caused by too much powder.

My reloads with lead bullets work just fine consisting of 4.4 grains of bullseye powder behind Lyman 85 grain cast bullet. But I need more empty brass and it is just as cheap to buy loaded ammo to get more cases than to buy new empty cases and reload them with lead bullets. This pertains only to the first firing because once you have purchased the brass it is cheaper to reload them than buy new jacketed ammo.
