Post Sudden Luger stubborness

My 1942 byf which I acquired four years ago had worked flawlessly without a single misfire or misfeed for about 3,000 consecutive rounds of Winchester 115 gr. All of the sudden, it has started stovepiping about every 3 or 4 shots. In addition, the trigger now frequently locks up and won't fire unless the finger pressure is released totally and the trigger repulled. I find it odd that both of these problems started at once.

Any suggestions? I really liked getting cheap 115 gr. ammo at Walmart without looking for the heavier stuff, which is not readily available around here (not that I know that that would cure the problem anyway) .

Thanks much.
