I cannot imagine that there might be any commercial mounts that would be readily adaptable to the unique positioning and demands of the Luger Frame design....
I believe that each attempt at this would have come from an owner with his/her own particular ideas as to there own needs. ...
After reading Ricks post I examined my frame and there appears to be a possibility of mounting a scope rail on the left, (1/2" x 1 3/4"), flat above the grip....
There is room for a screw and pin at each end just above the left grip, the grip / safety pocket has a rather large radius that just allows enough solid metal at each upper end .
This is a high order of Gunsmithing that is practiced by only a few Gun Smith's" at this time.... <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />
Custom designed and manufacture of a single unit ain't cheap, In fact I would say usually "Prohibitivly Expensive"... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
The possibility of mounting the Scope Rails with Lead Free Solder appears the best solution and would allow the removal, repolishing and blueing of the frame to restore to Shooter Grade, if one was unhappy with the result of the scope setup.
