Werner, The M/1943 is a unique holster among the Portugese types. It is shown on page 439 of Benders Luger Holsters and accesories. I have never seen one on Ebay to price compare but I would think because of it's unique character and scarcity it could be in the $300.00 to $400.00 range. Of course this is a wild ass guess with nothing to compare it with and no real world comparisons. Condition and color play such an important part that this estimate could vary by hundreds of dollars. In general Portugese items go for quite a bit less than German items. If a person has the pistol that completes the rig he might be willing to pay more for it than the average Luger nut.

As Tom Armstrong mentioned in another post concerning Luger leather it behooves you to purchase any Luger leather holster you can find at a reasonable price because like real estate, God ain't makin no more. It can only go up in value.

If you can post a photo of this holster I would love to see it. How much is the fellow asking for it? Jerry Burney
