A local Gunshow yesterday where I had some pistols on display and was showing a scarce Variant P38 ( posted on sister forum ). I had gone through boxes of stuff to bring ...got some goodies, mags and holsters...like this Brown one. Nothing special, just a nice color. Sadly, replaced loops with rivets !!
Then, a fellow Collector came by....I handed him the holster to look at....stating that it was ordinary.....He right away handed it back to me showing me this proofmark stating Luftwaffe !! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> A great thanks to Peter ( LugerCollector ) this ordinary holster is now of interest to me !! Maker marked WALZ inside flap...
Anyone has info on those
Lesson for me is to look at my stuff.....you never know......
