I am fairly certain that the Crown III is the Bavarian Third Corps as you have mentioned. The knowledge comes from previous posts on this subject since the forum changed to this format. I am sure that if you search the holster forum for "Bavaria" you will probably find at least one similar question and an authoritative answer Marc.
