Tom,
John Walter on page 148 talks about kwk and mentions the Costanzo "mistake".
He also talks about the kwk as an abbreviation used fot "Kampfwagen-kanone (tank gun)during the Thired Reich, but has no significance for the P08.
Just ten cents worth.
