Rick W. Yes they are made in a mold. I have never been able to locate an original Luger wooden mold. I have seen one for a P-38 but I suspect most found their way into the fireplace after either war as fuel was at a premium. It took me some time to find out how and to find the right size for various holsters. Artilleries are different than Army's and WW1 is different than WW2. I first started this when I made the baby Luger holster for Thor. That one had to have a custom top as there is no alternative. The leather must be the correct thickness as well. Patrick Villiers from Berlin has helped me with exact demensions from German archives. I made him a baby Luger holster as well but it was a Police style in black. Thanks for the kind words Ted...

Have you got your baby Luger yet? That will be quite an outfit when you put it all together! Jerry Burney
