Walker,

It is my understanding that there were 3 basic styles of Porto holster. The most common is the M2 Style (For lack of a better descriptor) which was issued with all of the 1906 style guns. The second was the GNR style, with the high belt loops, which were issued with the 486 to 500 1934/06 GNR pistols. The last was the 1942 model with that strap and brass fastner doohickie that came with the phosphate finished guns. If there are more, they slip my mind at the moment.
