Danial, Right you are. You had mentioned a boot and I got carried away! There is a toe strap attached to attach stock to holster.

Seems you have a type 1 Imperial Navy holster. At some time it was converted to belt straps and converted back to stock carry configuration at a later date. The holster is indeed pebble grain leather.

Quite a find my friend, now you need an Imperial navy Luger pistol for it! Many thanks all for the photo's. A real treat to see that these can still be found. Jerry Burney
