Here is what I have - excuse the quality.

The concern I have is that, if indeed there is some value beyond just a 'shooter' to this piece, how can I clean up the surface of the steel without devalueing it?


As I've stated, the parts numbers are all matching but I've not completely disassembled it to check the small internal parts (firing pin?, etc) which I've read are also numbered.
