Buy BOOKS first, then go to shows and museums. Buy more books, get to know collectors...then the awful time of decision arrives: which lugers do I want to collect?
You can't own 'em all; hell, you can't even know enough to be expert in a couple or three variations...so, choose your poi..uh, hobby..carefully.
