Thanks for the advice. I took the side plate off but I don't know anything about what the bevel angle should be. The gun is cocked...the trigger bar pushes out on the trigger bar spring...one pull of the trigger...zero...next pull of the trigger...active firing pin sounds normal for a luger...a dull snap. The trigger spring seems strong, but again, I don't know what I'm talking about. I also wrote to Orimar Firearms posing the question and I'm waiting to hear back from Thor as to how to fix it, or how he would fix it.
By the way, just bought an authentic Indian Pith Helmut made from real cork (pith) in Viet Nam from
www.villagehatshop.com that is absolutely beautiful. Wearing it now. Should be great for the range in Indianapolis. Feeling real "pithy."
