Hello Steve,

We would be very interested in more information about your American Eagle, serial number, pictures, left and right etc., ? It's serial number can place it into certain time periods.

In the luger community, "restoring" will destroy any collector value and knock the value 50% to 75% down in price. A nicely "restored" gun "could" bring a $1,000, maybe a bit more, but to many collectors, a reblued / restored gun is a "shooter" and worth $450-$550 and untouched it could be worth 2-3 times that amount. All depends on how "rough" the orginal finish is?
