My remark about the urathane finished grips was meant to be tongue in cheek. I had actually assumed somebody put the the urathane like finish on at some later date. Why? Who knows? Now you say you have two sets of such grips matching their respective pistols. If it's a serious question, I'll leave it to those on the forum who are more knowledgable about the finer points of variations than I am.
