I am new to the forum and would appreciate some help. My brother in law recently moved to Germany for employment reasons. How difficult would it be to have a luger sent to the U.S. if he were to locate one?

Also, my son-in law's grandfather, who has since passed away, particiipated in WW2. He brought back from Germany several items, one of which is a luger. It appears to be a 9mm with a 4 inch barrel. The grips seem to be made of a plastic material, with a picture of a blond woman on both sides. Does anyone have any information on such a luger?

When were P08's produced and utilized?
