I just wish that the Lugerforum was around when I first started. I could have avoided a few mistakes. Oh well, I am glad that I started when I did. I could never have accumulated what I have if I didn't. I was hard starting because there were so many to chose from. All my teachers were collecting the P-08's. I did not want to compete with them at gun shows so I focused on the artilleries. I never thought that I could afford a navy Luger. But then one day I bought myself a navy for my birthday. I was then off to the races with them. That was some 15 years ago and I now have a small but nice collection of artilleries and navies plus a few others of mostly 1918's and earlier. These guns are getting harder and harder to find. I paid way too much for all my guns at the time. But now those prices seem like bargains.
